13 in 1 Emergency Survival Kit quite impressed me it has an item for any situation included. my husband loved the pocket knife but really what man wouldn't like the knife.
My self I'm not a huge outdoors person unless I'm in the backyard in the pool or gardening, but my husband works outdoors and I thought this would be a great gift for him.
To be honest I was quite impressed with the contents of this kit so where do I start. The compass is like any other compass it slightly differs directions when I compared to other ones we own but wasn't off by much just a fraction.
This kit also comes with a hand saw it does take some muscle to manage to cut through larger limbs but the smaller branches it works fine. If you are a vaper you will notice this is a braided wire such as some would use in an RDA it won't cut your hands from touching it so its ok to keep in your pocket or on a keychain.
You never know when you need to start a fire so the included flint and striker is a great little tool to have again this takes practice to be able to get a spark but did work great for my husband but I struggled to get it to spark with friction.
At first I wasn't sure what the long silver stick was then figured it out if you blow in the end it will whistle which was great it was loud as my dogs let me know by barking like a fool at me I liked I can clip to my keys so I always have this one me just in case. There is also a mini light included which again clips to keys or lanyard only thing is you have to keep the button pressed to activate the light.
If the kit didn't include an emergency blanket I would have been shocked these are great for helping to warm you up these are a little noisy when wrapped in them but do the job. Also, you have a wallet size tool card it can be used for a lot of different things should the need arise.
you get a water bottle clip which is handy it fits most any water or soda bottle. the flashlight I love fits perfect in the pocket and uses 1 AA battery I like that its small and does provide quite a good amount of light.
The last two items in the kit are the knife and the pen, while it's not just an ordinary pen this tactical pen writes like a dream nice and fluid across the paper has a really nice grip and the end of the pen can be used to break glass or help defend yourself if needed.
The knife is like most any pocket knife but the pocket clip is on backwards compared to most pocket knives but has held up to most tasks thrown at it.
all in all, this is a great kit for anyone that loves the outdoors this Emergency Survival Kit does come with everything you could need.
