X8T Android 7.1 4K Android Box.
I watch a lot of tv shows on my computer but there is only so long I can sit in my chair without my back hurting or my eyes going crosseyed. I don't watch much live tv everything I watch is online Netflix or amazon prime shows. I play a few games on my phone but not too many.

X8T Android 7.1 4K Android Box is so small it doesn't take up much space at all because it's plugged into the tv via HDMI cable it does have to stay near the tv. The box features a really nice blue led clock display which is good you can also see the wifi signal on the display. The settings on this are really easy to navigate without even reading the instructions that came with the box. You use the remote to navigate through the settings which is a little tricky at first but you can plug in a wireless or wired mouse and use that to navigate much faster.
As this is Android it uses the google play store so a number of apps can be downloaded to the box such as Netflix or games which is great to play on a 55" tv. One thing I love with the box is the ability to use the browser on the box I can check email or visit Facebook from the comfort of my armchair which I have to say is pretty cool.

Android TV Box of which you can see on the Amazon listing. This does have 2 USB ports on the side which allows you to plug in a mouse and keyboard. There is also a slot for a sd or tf card to be inserted so you can easily transfer files between the devices the tv box itself comes with a built-in 8gig drive which for the most part is plenty as it didn't come prefilled with useless apps.
On the back you do have an ethernet port if you don't wish to use the wifi option, there is also a port so you can run a digital optical audio cable. HDMI port and power port the power plug is a little large I wished it had a regular plug end rather than the large bulky heads.
The remote is pretty much like a basic remote but you get the mouse button to turn the remote into the mouse which you control the pointer with the directional arrows.

as this is my first box I cannot compare to others just give my thoughts on this one. this is really easy to use and does the job great for me it has plenty of room for the apps I use I really do love the browser option on my tv and the size of this tv box as it doesn't take up much room around my tv stand which for me is a plus
