I got this for in my laundry room where we always come and go and put on an take off our shoes I thought this was perfect but I miss measured my wall and forgot to allow for the angle but I'm not too worried.
I think this is really a beautiful piece I actually use it as a small coffee table between mine and my husbands chairs as it fits perfect.
This came flat packed so you will have to assemble but I did it without reading the directions as it was pretty straight forward.as the seat and the shelves was pre-assembled so really it's just putting the legs and shelves onto the seat I put on the four lefts and gently tightened the nut and bolts to hold them in place then slide down the shoe rack and screwed those onto the legs and then tightened all the screws up with the included Allen wrench.
This doesn't sit very high and will hold 200lbs of weight easy as I got my husband to sit on it to make sure it would hold up. I love the two racks under this but I would keep this on a mat to collect the dirt from the shoes that fall off.
As I use it as a coffee table even with the slats underneath it still works well to hold books or magazines and really looks great. The finish is smooth and no rough spots to cause splinters anywhere this natural looking bamboo is really an eye catcher and really a shame just to use to store shoes on.
