I really love this owl all though at times the sensor is not all that sensitive especially if the light is dull.

The sound is not too bad and does work to scare off critters around my yard. The eyes do light up but to the human eye during the day in the sun, it is hard to really notice that. On the base, you have 2 clips so you can secure too a spot or a hole in the head so it can be hung up.
This is solar powered to charge the batteries and this does not work in the dark which I had hoped it would. From a distance, the owl looks real it's not until your up close you can tell its plastic.
You can turn the sound off on this so only the eyes flash I actually like the sound on it also alerts me when someone is walking through my garden and catches them off guard.
For the motion sensor as I said it has to have good light for it to go off and detect anything at first I thought it was not sensitive enough or I had a faulty one but it was I didn't have in a bright enough spot.
