I picked this up because I thought it looks really cool and different I love the effect that this does on counter surfaces and really brightens up a table and highlights some of the things around it.
This is solar powered which I love I wished it was also rechargeable so on cloudy days I could charge with ease. The glass bowl looks really cool and different there were 2 different designs to pick from so I went with the shattered glass look which I love but may have to get the other one in the future also. You can use this 2 ways as a bowl and set some potpourri or beads in it or as a cover over a vase to really set this off.
The glass bowl is open on either end so if you use as a bowl and fill with things you would have to carefully turn over or to remove items. the solar panel is easy to take off and on as it's not attached the hardest part with this is turning it on with the on-off switch as it has a rubber cover over it to protect it.
