I fell in love with these mugs myself not only do they look amazing they add a little class to your drinks and the added bonus if they are dropped these won't break.
I wouldn't use these for hot drinks as the copper does heat up and can burn you. These are perfect for adult drinks or even soda. I did find that these sweat a little with cold drinks so you would need a napkin under these if sitting them on a table.
Even if you don't use these to drink from these look amazing as a decoration piece. I would invest in some cleaner also for these as I know over time these will age and lose the shine.
