I picked these up cause before Christmas I got a set of these and i loved the effect they gave my cards but I didn't notice at the time of purchasing these was battery powered which I have to say I love as now I can use these anywhere without being restricted by an outlet.

These are great for photos or cards they add a little glow to whatever they are holding these are spaced a good distance apart so  they are not going to be a problem for larger items.
These are a wire cord which they will stay in a position slightly better there is no cover over the wire and when these are turned on the wire glitters with the light.
These only have 2 modes on and off these will need 3 aa batteries to power them there is also no clip for the battery pack ad it does weigh a little with the batteries installed so it will pull on that side more.
I know running these for long periods of a time it can get costly in batteries but these do last quite well running the 3 batteries and only using for  a few hours in the evenings
