I got this to help keep my home safe and me also while I'm home along as these days you never know whats going to happen.
We had quite a few break-ins around here this last few months and had me on edge as I'm normally home alone and do worry. So I picked this up at a great price I love how small the actual cameras are and that this comes with the DVR box which is really easy to set up and use.
This is a wired security kit so you will have wires do hide and some mounting is necessary but not much just a few screws. Because my husband does not want to drill a hole right through out wall for this to be mounted out side I am going to put the cord through the window or floor.
The cable is quite long and will reach a good distance but you have to make sure they can still plug into the DVR box as they are not wireless remote.
This came with everything you need cables DVR box camera even the screws.
The picture quality is not perfectly clear all the time but allows you to see who is coming and going along with who is in your home. The night vision is not the best that I have seen especially with things at a distance but up close it works.
First looking at this I was a little flustered and there is so much with it. you can have email alerts which I haven't tested yet and even view via a cell with a remote connection as long as you have this plugged into the internet. over all its a great kit for a small room it's not whole home coverage unless you get extensions for the cables
