I got this for my daughter to play her mp3 player with so she does have to keep her headset on and can dance to her songs easier. The sound quality is pretty good for such a small speaker on songs that have a lot of bass it does vibrate quite a bit.
This can be used via Bluetooth or wired which I love but not all the functions work when using the wire.  I didn't have any problems connecting this to my phone at all. Double clicking the play button on the base will bring up the calling option and single clicks play and pause music.
This can be charged via a power bank computer or via USB wall plug charging didn't take too long around 3 hours to fully charge and lasted all day almost steady playing songs.
The buttons on the base are all marked and easy to understand single clicks and double clicks for other options to skip a song or backup and to use calling feature. When not in use you can turn it off by flipping the switch on the base.
The only issue I have with this is there is no real protection for the top of the speaker if you carry this in your bag it wouldn't take much to puncture it.
