I'm always after ways to whiten my teeth without using too many chemicals I've tried the strips and pastes and they do work but your teeth suffer after as I found out.

This charcoal does take some getting used to especially the texture it's not really one of the nicest things to use but it does work over time your not going to see instant results.
Every time I used this for the first 2 weeks I had a tendency to gag from it but I did get used to it now this one claimed to have a mint flavor but I have yet to even taste anything that resembles mint this is just bland with the distinctive charcoal taste.
You don't need a lot of this just wet your toothbrush and dip on the top of the power. What I actually do is use a small spoon and sprinkle over my toothbrush to prevent spreading germs into the powder as my family uses this also.
when you brush this on your teeth it is quite hard to get all the black from the charcoal out from between and around your teeth I have to brush my teeth after with toothpaste twice and rinse 3 or 4 times and I still see charcoal after.

conclusion this works but not instant and is a pain to clean up after using
