I got this for my Christmas tree so it would auto turn on and off at a set time and so far it's worked like magic, I thought it was easy to set up it did look at first like a challenge but wasn't.
The face has quite a few button and can be quite daunting just to look at but on the top, you have step by step instructions in case you lose the flyer that came with it as I know its hard to keep track of every manual for every item we get.

 I love that I can set multiple timers so I can have my lamp or radio cut on and off throughout the day to make it as if someone is home. But as my case  right now I use on my tree so at 5:30pm every day my tree lights will cut on and go off at 9:30pm so if I'm not home it lights up my window.
When Christmas is over I will use the timer on my radio or lamp while I'm out during the day or evening.
The only issue I have with this is the actual plugin part is high up so it makes it so only this can be used on my double wall outlet which is a shame I would have liked to plug this in the top and something else in the bottom.
