I love this it's so versatile you don't have to use in a car you can use this on your desk and a phone holder which is what I was going to use it as until my husband stole it for his truck to hold his mp3 player.

The suction on this is a little sticky so helps it stick to almost any surface than the actual suction to hold it in place really good the  lever on the back is a little stiff to push down to suction but once done it's really good.
The phone holder is really easy to use as its spring loaded and had bumper guards to protect your phone or whatever device you use. This is also really easy to assemble unscrew the nut off the back push in the ball and screw back on the nut to tighten the grip around the ball to hold it in place.
This is adjustable up down and allows you to turn your phone sideways when needed. It doesn't move with the motion of traveling only when you manually move it.
You also get a car vent clip in the package which you can attach the holder too. If you don't wish to stick this to your dashboard it has 4 prongs on it which o hold quite well but not really strong enough for larger phones.
