In the daylight, the burning heart is a beautiful red-orange fire glow but add some light I used a flashlight and turn off the lights and this glows a beautiful blue.
The chain I don't think is all that special it's just a bead chain that can be adjusted easily to the length you want it to be by cutting a few beads off. On me, it comes to just above my chest but I know will come a little lower on my daughter.
