I love the idea of this light who does not want to highlight a flower bed tree or garden area with some color or even inside the home. I love my lights flashing blinking fading or a steady color they make or break a room set the mood for a relaxing evening or to get energetic. 
I've been playing with this light for a while some of the options I'm not big on but for the most part this light does what it supposed to do.
This is not huge or heavy and plugs in for power I don't think having this solar powered would work so good. You have a brace on the back to mount or use as a stand. It is a little stiff to move into place but you can adjust the screws to make it easier to move.
I haven't tested this in a wet environment yet as we haven't had any rain, but I have inside the home, it really gives off quite a lot of light. I love I can turn up or down the color of the light some colors are so bright it's nice to be able to dim it so it's not so bright.
You have quite a few flash blink strobe options the strobe to me is not exactly a fast strobe its rather slow but all the other options perform as they should. You get a remote with this to change the colors and flashing modes all which are easy to read and understand.
