I don't have a really modern computer that supports Bluetooth connectivity so I got this to try and see if it works and helps me. I was shocked how small this was from the listing it looked really big I was expecting it to be as big as my cell phone.
I tried this on my cell phone even though it has Bluetooth and on my desktop with no Bluetooth connecting was really easy to do even without reading the instructions.
The transmitter / receiver is quite small and will fit in your pocket with ease while it looks quite large it's actually really small it's only as tall as an aa battery.
You get 3 different cables to use the charging USB cable, tv cable and desktop / laptop cable all of which can be easily identified.
You have 3 buttons up and down skips the song or press and hold to adjust the volume the third is power button press and hold this to turn on and off, short press for the device to receive the connection.
You have 2 ports micro USB for charging and 3.5mm jack for receiving or transmitting cables.
You have a switch for TX to transmit Bluetooth connections and RX to receive connections. Depending on which you want to do just flip the switch. When I plug this into my desktop I have the switch on TX to receive a connection which then allows my Bluetooth items to be used on my desktop, or if I want to play music through my headset I would plug them into the unit then switch to RX turn Bluetooth on my device and connect. I think the markings are backward on this device but not a big deal for me. i can connect a set of Bluetooth headphones or my Bluetooth speaker and still listen to my music while away from the computer. you can pick this Bluetooth 4.1 Transmitter and Receiver, up on Amazon for $19.99
