I got this to make testing the temp of my food so much easier sometimes guesswork is not always the best better to be safe than sorry.


This is so easy to use and comes with a AAA battery which I thought was awesome saves one small expense. 
This is a simple one to use and the display is nice and easy to read and clear it doesn't light up but were not going to be using this in the dark anyway.


 You have 3 buttons on the face of this meat thermometer hold pressing this will keep the current temperature of the food so you can move it and read rather than trying to strain your neck around, on/off powers this on and off and f/c to change the meat thermometer temperature setting. 
The actual meat thermometer stick is a little stiff to pull out as it also acts as an on-off or standby mode when clipped in. It has a nice sharp point to poke through the meat with ease.
This worked really well and was so easy to use I don't know why I didn't get one a long time ago.
