I don't know about my husband but I love this tool. I help with a lot of DIY jobs around the home and I hate most wire strippers because they are a pain to use press too hard you cut the wire but these make it so easy.
I got this for a discount I had my husband in mind at first but I fell in love with them. Wire cutters, strippers and crimpers all in one.
Depending on the thickness of the wire these can be adjusted with the simple slide of a switch to adjust the length you want stripping or turn the dial on the stripper head to adjust thickness. Lay the wire across the top section of the tool and squeeze the handle to cut and strip the casing off wires.
The crimp section between the handles allows for crimping a wide range of crimping bits. We were playing with these for quite a while testing them on a wide variety of wires and they worked for all our needs. I saw my cable man with a set of these once and comment how cool they were and now I have my own set.
These have a comfortable grip on them and do have a little weight to them. I also got 2 screwdrivers with this tool as an added bonus a Philips and straight head screwdriver set with magnetic tips.
