I  love lights and Christmas decorations as it's my favorite time of the year. I won these in a contest from Finether and I just love them, or I should say my daughter does as they are hanging in her room. 

These give off quite a good amount of light they are multi-colored and do have a few different flash setting, best yet is they are solar powered so will save on the power bill.
30 lights red blue green orange each with their own Moon globe. the solar panel is average size and does have a plastic steak for when you use these outside. on the back of the solar panel, you have  a power button to turn on and off and a mode button to switch through the different setting.
These have quite a bit of detail on them and you can see the face from quite a distance. the cord is a dark green almost black so it will blend in with most trees if that's what you are going to use it for. i will state these need full sun to last 12 hrs if it's overcast out you will get around 5 hrs of light from these.
