This Expandable Flexible Garden Water Hose is not like the one you see on tv that retracts when water is turned off, this does expand to quite a good length but does have some stretching issues when you first use it as it is a little stiff. The braided cover does provide a great non slip grip when handling the hose. This features a brass connection on both ends and a shut off valve on one end, and comes with the spray nozzle which features 7 different settings along with the locking of the handle for continuous spray without having to hold it.
The setting on the nozzle allow for flat , shower , jet , mist , full , cone and center. Selecting each one is as simple as turning the head of the nozzle to the selected marked setting, the nozzle is made of plastic so dropping onto hard surfaces could crack the nozzle. The grip on the handle is not the best i did find it pinched my hand a little when using for while, i would have liked a padded grip. Using the locking handle is not bad the little clip holds the handle pressed quite good but not all too well it is a little on the loose side, but can be adjusted by turning the little black screw on the end.
The hose itself it 25 ft long and only weighs 1lb & 55 ounces which is really light for a garden hose. I was worried that the cover would collect dirt and look really shabby after a few uses but i'm happy to say it did collect some but did rinse off really easy and did not take long to dry. It's so nice to have a lightweight hose to pull around the yard or to wash our truck with. The added feature on the end of the #gardenhose is great i love being able to shut off the water to remove or change nozzles rather than having to turn of the main water supply change the nozzle and then turn the water back on this saves so much time in the yard. Both fitting on this hose are brass and durable, the hose will shrink a little when water pressure is on but not too much and can be stretched to reach 25 ft. When the water is turned off it does shrink back to size, but not like you see on the TV commercials. This is great for storage for those that do not like to leave the hose out side in the weather it can be wrapped up small and stored in original packaging or hung on a wall once water had been drained out. When i connected the hose i did not have any leaking and worked as expected this is great for those that have a hard time like me pulling a heavy hose around, i loved that i could practically dance around in circles and the hose did not kink up even when balling up the hose and turning on the water the hose stretched out easy
