i purchased this a little while ago because my daughter wanted her ears pierced along with me this at the time was the cheapest option for us first impressions of the kit was great seemed easy enough to use the kit provided everything you could need apart from alcohol wipes for cleaning the area
the earrings that come with the kit are not bad but if you suffer with reactions to metals i do advise against using them. They come with the rubber backs and in all honesty the earrings are cheap best to invest in some gold or silver earrings in my opinion for the safety of your ears.
The trigger on this is not bad as shown in my image the gun is squeezed as if its already around the ear and not squeezed. You see in the second image the earring holder is pulled back and the trigger is not squeezed. I did find that the earring did not want to stay in place it kept falling out so i used a little Vaseline to hold the earring in place
to adjust the space between the ear and the gun simply turn the end of the pull trigger as sown in the image to the left you can make it a snug fit or lose fit i found slightly snug to ear with the earring holder in the forward position works best. To shoot the earring through your ear you have to press the trigger release button which is the flat metal piece on the side as shown in image to the right this is sensitive so the slightest catch it shoots off. you would have to use your thumb to hit this to shoot the earring through ur ear while squeezing the trigger post.
The free earrings that came with the kit are cheap. I had an adverse reaction to them they turned green and made my ear swell up and fill with puss once i changed to gold earring i did not have any issues. in my image to the right you see a new earring and the one that turned color on me i did pre-clean and soak the earring sin rubbing alcohol prior to using them. in all honesty the ear gun it self works really well its just the cheap earrings that let this kit down but for the price its a really good deal if you want to pierce your own ears although it is a little tricky to do your own i found its best to get someone else to pierce them for you with the gun
you can pick this up for $8.57 on Amazon
